Its hard not to feel disillusioned with the Pokemon TCG sometimes, but then it comes out with things like the Trick or Trade special reprint set, of which a box of was sent to me by Pokemon's PR team, and its endearing simplicity immediately pulls me right back in
Originally, I was planning to ignore the set since I'm not a big Warhammer fan and initial statements said that the cards were going to be aimed at Warhammer players I thought the decks would take a safe design choice and be vanilla

I dont know anything about the One Ring card you mentioned (not my type of game), but if it was the same card, just unique artwork, and the flavor text in the Black Speech instead of English, I would be amused/appreciative
